Jail Ale is a
perennial favourite here at the Bay, having first come to prominence when
achieving Champion Ale at the 2007 Bay Horse Beer & Cider festival.
Brewed in Princetown by Dartmoor Brewery, this ale
is a real gem of the local area and certainly the most popular on our bar.

Otter Brewery in East
Devon makes a great range of ales that are ever popular in these parts,
which is why we tend to always have one on our bar. Our latest find is the new Otter Amber,
which (in our humble opinion) is their best! Having said that, the Otter Bitter is
also a pub favourite, so we generally rotate between the two.

South Hams Brewery
came to our notice after their fabulous summer ale, named Wild Blonde, was
awarded Champion Ale at the 2009 Bay Horse Beer & Cider festival. Although we will have to wait for the
next summer season for more Wild Blonde, we have been rotating through the
other ales available from the brewer.
